Holidays, words, and The Word. A few of my favorite things!

People say you have to have money or power to get along in the world’s economy. But we have the power of Christ. Christ trumps all: race, color, creed, or financial background. Our God is no respecter of persons.

 “For the Lord your God is God of gods and Lord of lords, the great God, mighty and awesome, who shows no partiality nor takes a bribe.” (Deuteronomy 10:17)

So there you have it. God doesn't take a bribe. Your money is no good there. So, no matter your financial status or being deemed a minority.Though it seems the majority buys their joy. Though their connections place them in seemingly unattainable positions for those of us without earthly clout or infinite wealth. My Father sits high and looks low. He takes no bribes but has all power in His hands.

God's power is infinite his resources beyond reproach. I love the God I serve. So glad He chose me.

 Oh yeah and Happy St. Patty's Day!

Saint Patrick described himself as a "most humble-minded man, pouring forth a continuous paean of thanks to his Maker for having chosen him as the instrument whereby multitudes who had worshipped idols and unclean things had become the people of God."
